Nockamixon Sail Club is the Home of Sailors and Sailing at the beautiful 1450-acre lake within the Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, PA. The Park has a Marina with docks for boats up to 24 ft and a dry storage area for boats on trailers. The Nockamixon Sail Club was established in 1974, shortly after the Lake was filled, to organize activities for sailing at the Lake. The Club serves both Racing and Cruising sailors with a full calendar of events from April to November each year. Racing includes one-design and Portsmouth handicap competitions.  Our fleets include: the Catalina 22, Chesapeake Bay Cruisers, Com-Pac, Flying Scot, Hunter, Impulse 21, Mariner, O'DayPrecision, Thistle and Victoria.

Commodore's Message

The 2015 Fall Banquet is set for 11:30 AM on Sunday, November 15th.  After a very nice brunch with many tasty hot and cold selections we will have awards and a short business meeting.  This is the last formal NSC event of the year so don't miss it.

The cost is $25 per person for NSC members and $40 per person for non-members.  This is a reduction from previous corresondence due to our strong financial position, and the desire of the Fleet Council to "give back" to the membership as much as possible.  Anyone who already paid the orignal rate will be refunded at the banquet itself.

Location is the lovely William Penn Inn on Route 202 & Sumneytown Pike in Gwynedd, PA.

Please RSVP to as soon as you can.

Send checks to: Christen Rex / 227 South 2nd Street / North Wales, PA 19454

Look forward to seeing you there!

We're always looking for people who love to sail (and new friends) -- please contact us or download our APPLICATION FORM (a PDF file), fill it out, and mail to the address indicated. We'll be happy to arrange a tour of the lake and facilities, provide some basic instruction, and flood you with loads of free advice!  By the way, we do not provide sailing lessons nor does the club rent boats but members participating in the skills learning events will enhance their level of sailing competence.
