Nockamixon Sail Club is the Home of Sailors and Sailing at the beautiful 1450-acre lake within the Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, PA. The Park has a Marina with docks for boats up to 24 ft and a dry storage area for boats on trailers. The Nockamixon Sail Club was established in 1974, shortly after the Lake was filled, to organize activities for sailing at the Lake. The Club serves both Racing and Cruising sailors with a full calendar of events from April to November each year. Racing includes one-design and Portsmouth handicap competitions.  Our fleets include: the Catalina 22, Chesapeake Bay Cruisers, Com-Pac, Flying Scot, Hunter, Impulse 21, Mariner, O'DayPrecision, Thistle and Victoria.

Commodore's Message

Snow is blowing and temps are dropping but the Fleet Council is actively planning another great year.

I do have two requests of our membership and both are easy to do, and I guarantee you will be happy with what you get in return:

1) Please send in your membership dues and form (the 2015 form was emailed by our membership secretary Robin Bonner but you can also use the 2014 form available under the Join Us tab).

2) Please check your schedule and pencil in the Spring Warm-Up for March 21.  Details were in the last Compass but the short version is that it is a great time, is only $25 per person for members, and starts at 5 PM.  Send your checks to the PO Box and RSVP to my email: mtbsailor@gmail.com.

I told you it would be easy!

Join Us!

We're always looking for people who love to sail (and new friends) -- please contact us or download our APPLICATION FORM (a PDF file), fill it out, and mail to the address indicated. We'll be happy to arrange a tour of the lake and facilities, provide some basic instruction, and flood you with loads of free advice!  By the way, we do not provide sailing lessons nor does the club rent boats but members participating in the skills learning events will enhance their level of sailing competence.

WELCOME ABOARD!
