Lake Nockamixon
Lake Nockamixon is a lake in the rural Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area located about thirty miles Northwest of Philadelphia or halfway between Philadelphia and Allentown, PA.
The 1,450 acre lake is a State Park within the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. NSC has been on Lake Nockamixon since 1974. The club organizes activities for sailors who race or cruise on the lake. The racing program includes a series of Invitational Regattas and race dates on Saturdays or Sundays.
The NSC assembles at the Nockamixon State Park Marina. Racing skippers meetings are on Dock "A" at our RC boat slip near the start of the dock.
The Marina is located about 7 miles east of Quakertown, PA off of Rt-563 (Mountain View Drive) between Rt-313 and Rt-412.
Proceed to this address: 1 Harrisburg School Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 (not a mailing or shipping address). Continue straight onto the State Park roads. Turn left down the hill toward the lake and turn right the base of the hill toward the boat launch ramp facilities.
