Noones win NJYRA Class Champions Award
Nockamixon Sail Club Flying Scot sailors, Brenda and Mike Noone, have received the 2009 NJYRA Class Champions Award for winning the Flying Scot Class Championships. The presentation was made at the Annual Meeting of the NJYRA held at Monmouth Boat Club, in Red Bank NJ. Nockamixon Sail Club is a member club of the NJYRA which is, in turn, part of Area "C" of the US Sailing national organization.
The 2009 Flying Scot Championships were held as part of the "Challenge of the Lakes" racing series between Flying Scot Fleets within the NJYRA area. This is the first time that NSC sailors have won any NJYRA Award.
NYJRA Commodore, Jeff Jacobi, presents the 2009 Flying Scot Class Champions Award to Brenda and Mike Noone of NSC
Congratulations Mike and Brenda. Good sailing and a good looking team, as well, in that shot.
One more reason for us all to travel more.
