NSC Victoria RC Fleet

 The Victoria RC Class, official AMYA (http://www.theamya.org) registered class (http://www.theamya.org/boats/victoria), is an affordable radio controlled model sailboat.  The boat comes in kit form, manufactured by Thunder Tiger and available at hobby stores or at Tower Hobbies (http://www.towerhobbies.com).

NSC has ten Victoria RC sailboats ready to sail during our off-season.  The members host a Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NSC_VictoriaFleet) for communications relating to the Victoria boat and building tips, fleet activities and just cool stuff.  The Victoria RC class also hosts a Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VictoriaYC/) and website (http://www.victoriarc.org).  Search YouTube as there are many videos showing the boat in action.

Consider adding a Victoria RC Sailboat to your boat collection and come out for a sail on the water's edge one nice afternoon.  The skippers usually meet at the Haycock launch ramp for some around the buoy sailing and tech talk.
